• Transcript of interview Reitz on VPRO-television on 19 December 2004. You can watch the fragments also on the VPRO-website in German with Dutch subtitles and a short commentary in Dutch.
• Maarten van Bracht interviewed Reitz after his Q&A at the Goethe Institute in december 2004. This was published in the VPRO tv-guide, one of the participants in the Heimat3 project. The interview is published on the web on the cinema.nl film portal in Dutch and there is an amateur translation on this website in English.
• An interview by Michael Seewald published in the Frankfurter Algemeine Zeitung, as published by FAZ on the 9th of June in 2004 is translated by Angela Skrimshire and carefully edited, corrected and improved by Wolfgang Floitgraf. The result is these 1569 words (2 pages). There is also a review in FAZ, published on the 30th of September, by Hans-Dieter Seidel translated by them in these 1721 words (2 pages) and a review written by Thomas Hönemann (webmaster of heimat123.de for the Rhein-Hunsrück-Zeitung of January 12th 2005 in 705 words.

• The interview with Reitz by Thomas E Schmidt as published by Die Zeit on 16 December 2004 is translated by Angela Skrimshire in 2793 words (about 5 pages) with the help of Wolfgang Floitgraf and Robert Cran.
• The Q&A in the Goethe Institute in London, moderated by Cristopher Cook on Sunday 17th April 2005. Heimat 3 'Special Review' in a 1 hour 18 minutes and 9 seconds (53,7Mb) MP3 audio-file. Reitz talks in German, but his words are translated into English. At 5.. ' you can hear Ivan Mansley very clearly, asking a question about Hermann. The rest is audible, but the noise of the memorecorder has the same level as what is said. Angela Skrimshire made a partial transcription of it.
• Interview with Reitz by Geert Mak (writer) and Pieter Verhoeff (director) in Amsterdam following the Dutch premiere of Heimat 3. In Filmmuseum Cinerama 14 November 2004. The conversation was held in a mix of German and Dutch. You can listen to it as a 55 minutes 50 seconds (51,1Mb) MP3 audio-file.It is in German and you are invited to make transcripts and/or translations from it to share with others on this website.
• On Tuesday afternoon the 16th of November tv-critic Hans Beerekamp interviewed Reitz in a closed setting in the Goethe Institute, with a professional audience, part of a series of talks on fiction made for television. The audio starts after the showing of the first scenes of Heimat 3 and is 1 hour, 36 minutes and 38 seconds (66,6Mb) long. The transcription is not yet finished, but Wolfgang Floitgraf already did this part. Feel free to pick up another part to transcribe and/or to translate into English.

• Interview at the Pesaro Festival of the New Cinema in order to participate to a round table on the cinema of the sixties. Also about Heimat 3 in the Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" published on June, 26 2001. In Italian and translated in English by Carlo Cecchetto.
• Interview by Olav Anders Øvrebø with Edgar Reitz. Reitz was interviewed in Munich in November 1999. The interview was published in the Norwegian language in the journal Samtiden, no. 2-3 2000. A shorter version was printed in the weekly newspapers Morgenbladet (Oslo) and Weekendavisen (Copenhagen) in December 1999. Translated in English and the original in Norwegian.
• Good, but long interview with Edgar Reitz in Dutch. There is also an amateur translation. The interview itself had been a two hour television broadcast the week before it was published. Because of the quality of this interview the transcription was published in the TV-guide by the VPRO.
